The journey began in 2001, at a time when Belgian festivals<\/strong> were booming but were still difficult to find online. Festivals<\/strong>.be started as a simple directory of links to the country\u2019s leading festivals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Thanks to a loyal community and a strong network of cultural websites<\/strong>, Festivals<\/strong>.be quickly became Belgium\u2019s leading website<\/strong> for discovering festivals.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The first interactive version of the website is launched, allowing organisers to create and manage their own festival listings<\/strong>. It is an immediate success, first among music festivals<\/strong> and soon across every cultural discipline: theatre, jazz, cinema, gastronomy, literature, circus, street arts and more<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In 2024, Festivals<\/strong>.be entered a new chapter with a completely redesigned website, enhanced features, an improved mobile experience and, above all, the launch of an English version to welcome the many international visitors eager to discover the richness of Belgium\u2019s festival scene<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
